Based in Mexico & USA
Ben Horton’s photography emerges from a deep engagement with exploration, where landscape, light, and atmosphere converge to reveal places rarely witnessed firsthand. Working in some of the world’s most remote and demanding environments, he approaches each image as both an act of discovery and a form of visual storytelling.
His work has been shaped by expeditions and assignments with National Geographic and has been exhibited at institutions including the Denver Art Museum. Through immersive compositions and a careful sensitivity to natural light, Horton captures landscapes that evoke both scale and solitude, inviting viewers to experience the power and fragility of the natural world.
Each photograph becomes an invitation to encounter environments that exist at the edges of the visible and the known.
